Experience in
regulated and complex industries,
with transferable competencies.
Life Sciences
Life sciences facilities operate under some of the most demanding engineering and regulatory requirements of any sector. From active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) production to solid dosage manufacturing, biotech processing, and advanced therapy development, every system must be designed for compliance and built to perform reliably under audit.
We support pharmaceutical and biotech operators with integrated engineering across the full facility lifecycle. Our work spans cleanroom design, HVAC and clean utility systems, process engineering, and the detailed coordination of architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and automation disciplines. We design to EU GMP, FDA, and Annex 1 standards, with commissioning and qualification embedded from the earliest project stages to ensure a clear path to regulatory approval.
Using in-house tools such as CFD modelling and process simulation, we validate cleanroom airflow patterns, pressure cascades, and production workflows digitally before construction begins, reducing risk and protecting your programme.
Healthcare
Healthcare environments present unique engineering challenges where clinical function, patient safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance must be balanced within complex, often operational, buildings. Whether the project is a new hospital wing, a diagnostic imaging suite, an operating theatre, or a specialist treatment facility, the engineering must support safe, reliable, and efficient clinical operations from day one.
We deliver multidisciplinary engineering for healthcare projects, covering HVAC and ventilation design for critical care and isolation areas, medical gas systems, electrical resilience and backup power, and the coordination of complex building services within sensitive clinical spaces. Our approach prioritises functional, patient-centred design, with energy performance and long-term maintainability built into every system.
Through BIM coordination and a Common Data Environment, we manage the complexity of healthcare projects with full traceability, reducing design clashes and supporting a smoother path through regulatory approvals and operational handover.
Food & Beverage
Food and beverage, nutraceutical, and cosmetic production environments are governed by strict hygiene and safety standards that demand engineering precision at every level. From controlled processing areas and clean-in-place (CIP) systems to temperature-controlled storage and utility distribution, the facility must protect product quality while supporting efficient, scalable operations.
We design and engineer controlled production environments that meet HACCP and ISO 22000 requirements, combining process layout optimisation with robust MEP systems and environmental controls. Our energy efficiency and sustainability services help operators reduce running costs and meet evolving decarbonisation targets without compromising compliance or output.
Where production workflows are complex or capacity is under pressure, our process simulation capability allows us to model and test different configurations digitally, identifying bottlenecks and optimising throughput before physical changes are made.
Retail
Retail environments must balance customer experience, operational efficiency, and energy performance within spaces that are often subject to frequent reconfiguration and tight delivery programmes. Whether the project is a flagship store, a mixed-use commercial development, or a multi-site rollout, the engineering must support the brand experience while keeping systems practical, efficient, and maintainable.
We provide integrated engineering and project coordination for retail projects, covering MEP design, lighting, access and circulation, back-of-house infrastructure, and system integration across the full building envelope. Our BIM and Common Data Environment tools support clean coordination across design teams and contractors, particularly valuable on fast-tracked fit-out programmes where multiple trades are working concurrently.
Hospitality
Hotels, resorts, restaurants, and leisure facilities require engineering that supports guest comfort, operational reliability, and long-term energy performance. The systems behind the experience, including HVAC, hot water, lighting, building management, and power distribution, must work seamlessly and be designed for cost-effective maintenance over a long operational life.
We design and engineer building services infrastructure for hospitality projects, with particular focus on energy efficiency, thermal comfort, and system integration. Our approach helps operators reduce energy consumption and running costs while improving guest satisfaction and meeting environmental performance targets.
For refurbishment and upgrade projects in operational properties, we use 3D laser scanning and BIM to create accurate as-built models, enabling design work to proceed with confidence and minimising disruption to ongoing operations.
