Optimisation
After aligning objectives, we collect data and assess current performance, then propose targeted efficiency actions and evaluate impact on the existing configuration. This process can quantify:
• Expected financial savings
• Investment required for implementation, using preliminary estimates and supplier quotations where needed
• Payback period
• Additional benefits beyond energy reduction, including lifecycle performance and facility efficiency improvements
We support these activities with internal software tools, including IES VE for dynamic energy simulation, comparing scenarios before committing to changes. We also use CFD when advantageous, for example to assess mitigation strategies and set back conditions for ventilation and environmental control in cleanrooms and classified spaces.
Sustainability
We extend the same evidence led methodology to decarbonisation and broader sustainability topics, supporting:
• Decarbonisation programmes, including reduced reliance on fossil fuels
• Refrigerant leak monitoring and reduction
• Selection of refrigerants with lower greenhouse impact
• Renewable electricity production or procurement
• Value chain informed decarbonisation planning where applicable
